The 24-hour race at the Nürburgring is one of the most legendary endurance races in the world and has been held annually since 1970. The combination of the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit gives the Nürburgring its incomparable charm, which captivates drivers and fans alike time and time again.
Manthey Racing is the sole record holder of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with a total of seven victories in the overall standings – and there is no end in sight.
The Manthey EMA team entered the 53rd edition of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring with start number 911. With the Porsche 911 GT3 R in Grello design, drivers Kevin Estre, Thomas Preining and Güven Ayhancan were among the favourites again this year. The team crossed the finish line first after completing 141 laps, but was relegated to second place due to a time penalty.
